Alphamania

A cross between Boggle and Tetris, Alphamania is a tough fun game that will challenge both sides of your brain.

Select your vocabulary and the study the word list. When you are ready, click new game. The left and right arrows move the letters. The up arrow rotates the letters. The down arrow drops the letters. Form the words in the vocabulary to score points. Words may be formed forward, backward, upward, downward, and diagonally.

If you want a chance to think about what you are doing, check the study time box. You will have up to 5 seconds to arrange the letters before they drop. When you are ready, press the down arrow to drop your letters. Leave the check mark off if you want a fast paced action game.

You score 25 points for each letter you clear from the board. You receive bonus points the first time you form a word in the vocabulary. Three letter words are worth 100. Four, 1,000. Five, 10,000 and six, 100,000!

Hint: Work on diagonals.
